The simplified pack to start ultra running, the new Active 8 Skin Set hydration vest from Salomon provides the essential hydration and storage features for 50 miles plus of stress-free running knowing you have everything you need. Inspired by professional trail runners, the Active Skin 8 Set is aimed at new runners to the trail and ultra running scene, or those looking for a simplified & affordable pack for all their training and racing needs.
Comfortable soft fabrics and an easy elastic sternum closure system, the 8 litre storage capacity allows for 50 miles plus of running in comfort and with freedom of movement. Including 2x Soft Flask 500 Std 28 water flasks in the front pockets, allowing quick hydration whenever you are thirsty, retained with durable easy to find/grab bungee cords. Rear bungee system to compress the rear compartment or stash your jacket.
The rear bladder compartment can accept a 1.5l reservoir or 2l reservoir (not included).
POCKETS & COMPARTMENTS
- 2x Soft flask pockets, stretch mesh ( with 2x 28mm wide-opening 500ml/17oz. soft flasks included ). Compatible with the Soft Flask Speed ( available separately ).
- 2x Large front stretch mesh 'dump' pockets with top and side access ( overlapping front of each soft flask pouch )
- 1x Rear large vertical-zipped pocket ( for secured storage ) with 1x safety foil blanket pocket ( not zipped ) inside with key holder
- 1x Rear open-top bladder compartment, with hole at base for bladder tube exit for underarm routing.
