As an ultra runner shorts with pockets are really useful. These shorts are advertised as having a pocket that can contain a smart phone - unfortunately mine doesn't fit! Mesh pockets around the rear not really deep and tight enough for gels etc. Having said that, comfy to wear and good for training runs.

These are brilliant shorts, it's really easy to get to the Gels and S Caps / Food in the pockets especially on long runs when energy expenditure isn't needed trying to access Gels in Race Packs !!!
