Better than the Salomon softflasks April 17, 2015 Reviewer: Stewart L from ROMSEY, Hampshire United Kingdom   I say this for 2 key reasons. Firstly the flask opening is wider which makes it easier to fill if you are adding a drink powder etc. Secondly, and most importantly for me, you can lock the drinking spout/valve closed so you can confidently stash a filled bottle without worrying about it leaking. When the Salomon flasks are full one little touch on the bite valve and it gushes fluid out which is kind of fine when stored in a front pocket but rubbish if it's anywhere else. I find this flask works well with their packs as a 3rd bottle when you need extra fluids on a long run or if you have long gaps between aid stations on hot days. Two bottles up front and one softflask stashed to use as and when you need it. When you don't it takes up little room, when it is it's quite flexible if you don't fully fill it. Leaks March 15, 2015 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from United Kingdom   Comfortable to hold and use with a good flow, but flawed in two ways.  First, when carried horizontally it leaks slightly.  Not much, but enough to get your kit damp.  Second, and more importantly, the valve is very easily pulled right out.  I grabbed the bottle out of my bum bag mid race and pulled the valve right off.  Cue lots of sticky liquid all over me, my bag and my spare jacket.  It goes back in OK, but it's a bad design.
