Protection April 20, 2015 Reviewer: Joe Delaney from Beaumont Cum Moze, Clacton On Sea,, Essex England   I bought two pairs, as the 3 is just finishing up and didn't want to take a gamble just yet, as one always has to do with "updated" versions of your favourite shoes. I'm one of the unlucky runners who traditionally has had to do a lot of marching in the last few miles of off rioad marathons, never mind ultras. These shoes mean that I don't end up with half as much pain in my feet, and have been responsible for success in a few ultras also. (Success being finishing!). Was this review helpful to you?

Great shoes April 13, 2015 Reviewer: paraglide.co.uk from Abergavenny, Monmouthshire United Kingdom   I wanted to try these as i have had lower back surgery, and want to run again. And in these i can! awesome shock absorbtion. like running on air. I ordered 2 sizes bigger than my normal 11 (13) and they fit perfectly, so anyone ordering these should go at least 1 size up. Wow! October 5, 2014 Reviewer: JohnE from Hampshire UK   So I've been running for a couple of years now having restarted after a LONG break and have been struggling with a series of niggling pains in knees, ankles etc. so I thought I'd go for these shoes and see the results.  Wow!  Since running with these.  No pain and (though this is probably psychosomatic) I've been putting in faster times too. Hoka BONDI 3: Comfort and Spring September 24, 2014 Reviewer: Moodster from Chobham, Surrey United Kingdom   I run mid foot. After sizing up (I would strongly suggest 0.5 to 1.0 size larger than your normal shoe size I took a 46 and am normally a 44-44.5) they are,however, secure in the heel  with plenty of room at the front and good width. Laces are quick pull laces, which work very well and pull the shoe around your foot in a very secure yet comfortable way. I tackled a 13.1 miler as a first run out and had the most comfortable run of my life, no foot, ankle or knee issues during or post run. Indeed my achilles felt great (run sprint triathlons on Zoots). Very light and fully mid sole support and almost feels like you're bouncing on springs. Once correct size...perfect! Would recommend. Quality. July 28, 2014 Reviewer: Joe D from Clacton On Sea, Essex United Kingdom   Having found that cross country / trail marathons tended to beat my feet up, I've swapped over to these and they have addressed the problem greatly. No more aches and pains in my feet and ankles since I've worn them for 3 further marathons, including a 50k. Hence this is my second pair so I've got some for when they are worn down.
