Purchased my first pair of Hoka's last October, a pair of Bondi 5's. They were perfect for my struggling knees, due to the additional underfoot cushioning. These needed replacing in May but the Bondi 5 was now the Bondi 6, were they going to be as good? I contacted Keith Godden, for advice. As the owner of UMRS and an ultra runner himself, who else is in a better position to give advice? After comparing 2 other Hoka shoes, I decided to get the Hoka 6. Perfect. These are just as good as the Hoka 5 but with, for me, just a little more support around the ankle, making them my ideal running shoe. Have done runs up to 30 miles on light trails, canals banks and roads and these have been so comfortable each time. You must use Hoka's sizing chart, as the shoes are on the tight side, and for my purchase of the Hoke 6, I added another full size, just to give me a little more room on the longer runs. Long live the Hoka Bondi 6.
