Hoka shoe shape July 21, 2019 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Warwick, Warwickshire United Kingdom   The. Challenger ATR 5 wide are nearly there. The wider last is much better but those used to Altra’s the Hoka is still tight in the mid foot. My other concern is the resilience of the midsole foam. Even new it felt rather lifeless. However for general mixed road/tracks/trail training they are well worth considering Was this review helpful to you?

Light and comfy June 28, 2019 Reviewer: NIck from Northwich, Cheshire England   Bought these to replace Stinson ATR4 and chosen for weight and wider fit for long distances. I find Speedgoat and Mafate Speed too narrow for me on ultras. Only done a handful of miles so far, but running TMB next week and then Lakeland 100. So far; much lighter than Stinson, stable and comfy. Lugs not so grippy but not planning on moving at speed on technical surfaces. The wide fit made them feel a little tall lacing up, so I added a 3mm insole underneath and now they fit great. Let's see what 4 days in the Alps does for all day comfort, but happy so far. Outstanding customer support May 10, 2019 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Manchester, Lancashire United Kingdom   To any body wishing to purchase these shoes I have conflicting advice. Most importantly the shoe is very comfortable and I really enjoyed running in them. On the other hand, on both sets that I have purchased, the grip on the sole started to come away within a few runs after purchasing. I think this is very unusual for Hoka shoes so perhaps I was just unlucky. On both occasions the ultramarathon running store team were fantastic. They were very helpful and understanding and arranged for a refund given the issues with the shoes. My customer experience has been fantastic and I will be recommending them to other runners whole heartedly. Was this review helpful to you?
