Clifton 3 is the best shoe I ever had (currently I have more than 20 different pairs from Saucony, Mizuno, Asics, Brooks, Nike, Adidas...). It has by far the best cushioning of all shoes I ever tried, and it is very light and has fantastic roll off. I'm 53, I'm 182 cm, and 90 kg and lately I have issues with my back so I need highly cushioned shoe. The only issue I have with Clifton is lack of stability (I'm over pronator) which I can feel when I run more than 10 km. I tried lately Hoka Arahi which has some similarities with Clifton. Arahi feels equally light, has similar gait, is more stable, but unfortunately less cushioned than Clifton. I will probably combine these 2. On the other hand I don't recommend Bondi 4 at all. It is very stiff, the cushioning is surprisingly firm despite its oversize and I don't like the roll off at all. I don't like the reviews which are comparing Clifton with Bondi either. These 2 shoes in my opinion have nothing in common except manufacturer.
