hoka speedgoat January 10, 2017 Reviewer: Ella Bowles from Totnes, Devon United Kingdom   Very happy with the way my purchase was handled, including returns and replacement shoes; but not happy with the shoe at all. Maybe they just don't suit my feet, but they feel cheap and ill fitting and not worth the £98 I paid for them. I've had 4 pairs of Hokas before - various, including a walking shoe version - and love the cushioning. But would not recommend these at half the price. Unfortunately I've already worn them a few times outside to see if they improved with running-in. Was this review helpful to you?

Welcome return to Hoka One One June 1, 2016 Reviewer: Jon Regler from Blandford Forum, Dorset United Kingdom   I've tried Hokas before and didn't really get on past 10-15miles (sore feet). So far so good with these new ones. Seems like the Speedboats are a complete remodel over my previous visit to oversized shoes. I went a little larger at Keith's recommendation as I'm a little wide in the foot. Perfect fit. These are extremely light and bouncy and great fun too! Was this review helpful to you?

Speedgoat are great March 31, 2016 Reviewer: David Shepherd from Banstead, Surrey United Kingdom   Very impressed with lightness of shoes. Ran/walked 40 miles in them and very comfortable.  Needed to buy some water proof socks as there are holes in the top of shoes and we were running across the Peak District. Very good sole that seems to stick to most things but can go sidewards on wet peak peat Was this review helpful to you?

Speedgoats January 25, 2016 Reviewer: SMartS from Cumbria United Kingdom   Pretty good overall.  I also have mafate / stinson & huaka to compare. Went up a 1/2 size vs others based on previous reviews, and fit ok for width. I did change the insoles though to dial in the fit which is a bit different. Good aspects are: they feel nice and stable even on rougher trails; and the highlight is the grip with the outsole design and presumably the vibram rubber. Not so good was the drainage. The foot sits low in the midsole and above that there is a 1.5cm rubberised band around the upper which seems to retain water too much.  When I get the guts I'm going to melt some drainage holes with my soldering iron! Have used them on rougher trails but not 'fell' as yet and that would probably depend on whether it was a high ultra or a faster shorter distance, for which I would probably revert back to my Salomons. Having done 30 odd miles I'll be using them for the Trail26 Grizedale in Feb. So overall I like them and IMO worth having in the cupboard as part of a rotation. Was this review helpful to you?

Mens Hoka Speedgoat January 25, 2016 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Milton Keynes, Bucks United Kingdom   Excellent advice when looking into the product.  They are a good fit but I prefer the feel of my old ones and I prefer the other lacing system.  The lace does not feel as secure as the elastic. Hoka Speedgoats December 18, 2015 Reviewer: Tim Drew from Dukhan , Dukhan Qatar   Great pair of trail shoes. I wore them for the first time in a 40KM trail race in the desert. Really comfortable and performed in some tricky underfoot conditions. Fit is good. The service from ULTRAmarathon running store was excellent. The shoes arrived form the UK to the Middle East in under 2 weeks. Was this review helpful to you?
