These are the narrowest Hoka shoes I've seen; they're significantly narrower than either my Rapa Nui Comp or my Huaka, both of which are marketed as narrow. I think that's great because I have really narrow feet, but others have complained about it. The grip on the sole is good, and looks more robust than the other Hokas (I've found it wore more or less smooth on my Huaka after about 100km). My only complaint is the arch support, which is vicious - it left me with a 5cm blister after 10km! I'm going to persevere though, I'm sure it's a great shoe once your feet are used to it...
