Men's Hoka SPEED INSTINCT Shoes - Nightshade/Acid September 5, 2017 Reviewer: Calvin Hemmings from Northampton, Northamptonshire United Kingdom   Used these for UTMB - I read in a newspaper that after 12 miles they make you feel like running on cushions.  They didn't work for me.  After 30 miles pounding on trails I could feel the pain in my feet.  With Inov-8 Roclite 280 I usually feel the pain in about 80 miles. Great shoe, great ride, poor quality? April 10, 2017 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from west Sussex United Kingdom   Love the ride. Coming from challenger / salomon sense- nice mix of cushion, grip and trail feel. I've got pretty wide feet, so think this caused me to have issues/pain after 8ish miles like clockwork. On my 2nd pair. First pair started splitting upper from midsole. These guys were great and replaced the shoe for me. Unfortunately, 2nd pair has only lasted about 140miles before splitting enough to fit my fingers through the hole. Was this review helpful to you?
