Hoka one one Speed Instinct May 16, 2017 Reviewer: John from Gloucester, Gloucestershire United Kingdom   Only run a couple of short cross country races but the promise of a lightweight, cushioned and grippy trail shoe is well met. Different from other Hokas - great in its own way April 10, 2017 Reviewer: Tim from East Molesey , Surrey, UK   I've had lots of different pairs of Hokas and these fit a niche in between the grip of the Speedgoat (a fantastic shoe if you want great grip with good cushioning) and the comfort of the Stinson ATR (brilliant off-road cushioning, but the grip is trail, not fell). The speed instinct feel fast and snug and have good cushioning for road and light trail. The fit is regular but not generous, so if you are between sizes, go for the bigger one. If you're new to Hokas this will feel like a more cushioned shoe trail shoe than anything you've used before but in a more familiar format than the maximal Hokas. If you're a Hoka fan looking for a light fast road & trail shoe alongside your 'real' Hokas, this will fit the bill.......it's not as plush as the Stinson ATR but very very good in its own way. Hoka Speed Instinct March 20, 2017 Reviewer: Gary Campion from Olney, Buckinghamshire United Kingdom   Good all round shoe. Decent quality. Has good grip on most surfaces. I have used them for running around the english countryside with some paths, tracks and woods. It is quite wet at the moment and they have done well. They have a good feel and are nice and light. They do soak up water when its boggy ground and that adds some weight. They take quite a while to dry out. They also make your feet hot. Good for the winter weather though and reliable for all terrain. Was this review helpful to you?
