Ideal for long remote training days and ultra-trail events, the Salomon XA FILTER CAP 42 filters bacteria and protozoa from natural water sources. This simple soft flask cap-filtration system eliminates up to 99.99% of protozoa, Cryptosporidium oocysts and bacteria from water whilst on the go, which means you can carry less water, and therefore less weight, helping to reduce fatigue. Use to refill your bottles or hydration reservoir with clean water. This filter does not filter out viruses. Compatible with the length-adjustable Soft Flask Straw
Includes a 'Filter Owner's Guide' instruction manual in multiple languages covering safety warnings, intended use, how to use, cleaning and storage, how to disinfect, expected lifetime / filtration change and Hydrapak warranty.
